When humans are at their best, they’re like springs.
Life flows within them and spills out into the world around them.
And it’s not dependent on outside circumstances.
A spring flows whether it’s placed in the desert, found in a storm, or located in paradise.
The cup full of water will run dry — whether you drink it, spill it, or it just evaporates.
We often experience life as a cup — finding it dry and wondering where the water went.
What if the full experience of life is meant to be like a spring, not like a cup?
You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11
