Life can become about all kinds of things and, when you look back, you might realize that those things weren’t actually important.
This is a common experience.
Part of living life well means recognizing the important and essential and enjoying it.
Unfortunately, there are a number of things within us that distract us from the essential. These are things like pride, greed, lust, and unhealthy ambition.
Maybe there’s something missing from that list.
But it’s a good place to start.
Missing the essential means missing life. It might be that simple.
