Life is a gift, but it must be received to be experienced.
It’s simple, but it’s possible not to. It’s possible to live someone else’s life. It’s possible to be so busy that you miss life. It’s possible to take it for granted.
Life must be received to be truly lived.
Open your eyes, look at it, accept that it’s yours, and receive it.
This doesn’t mean that you can’t change your life. But you can’t change it until you receive it.
It’s possible to be alive for decades, but never live life. It’s possible to never sink into it, experience it, and feel the miracle of it.
Being alive, although dangerous, is good.
You know you’re receiving life when you begin to savour it, feel grateful for it, and find yourself increasingly content in any circumstance.
