A childlike posture is open, trusting, curious, and joyful.
A childish posture is ungrateful, competitive, fearful, and greedy.
True maturity is childlike, not childish.
It’s the childish part of ourselves that keeps us from living childlike. We’re fearful that being open, trusting, curious, and joyful will leave us weak and vulnerable to falling behind and losing.
True life belongs to the childlike.
It’s like a child that we must approach God and it’s in the posture of a child that we can fully receive life and live it well.
Becoming mature is about growing in childlikeness and growing out of childishness.
Become childlike, not childish.
