It’s easy to begin treating life as something to win.
We can make everything about winning — even things that aren’t a competition.
Some of us do this overtly and some of us do this quietly and subconsciously.
We know that winning isn’t everything, but what if winning is nothing?
Competition is a truncated version of reality.
Sure, on the surface competition can be helpful and even fun.
But if the core of our life, the place we live from, is mostly looking to win, we will literally miss what life is about.
If that’s us, the best thing that can happen to us is that we lose… and the faster the better.
