Imagine a child and their parent on a hike in the woods.

The child, who suffers from amnesia, becomes separated from their parent.

After time passes, the child falls asleep under a tree.

She awakes with an overwhelming fear and panic at being alone in this dark, scary place.

She doesn’t remember the hike nor the lost parent, but still feels the frantic anxiety and fear of the parent’s absence and loss.

This is the human condition void of a vulnerable relationship with God.

It is possible to live and not experience life.

It’s hard to notice something we don’t have when we’ve never had it and we’ve never known about it… even if it’s the one thing we need.

Hi, I’m Michael and this is my daily project where I write about diverse ideas.
