A lifetime is one’s experience of time sandwiched in between a start and a finish.
A life is the sum of its days.
It’s about time.
Therefore, what we spend it on matters.
And waiting any length of time to begin living life is unwise.
It’s unwise because life can only be lived in the present, not yesterday or tomorrow.
Therefore, spend today wisely.
Maybe you are. Maybe you’re not.
For me today, spending it wisely means being grateful for the 3,150 days I’ve gotten to know her for and the 1,187 days I’ve gotten to know little her for.
