Learning

The Easy Way or the Hard Way

There are different ways to learn.

You’ve probably heard of them: the easy way and the hard way.

The easy way is actually harder today and easier tomorrow.

The hard way is actually easier today and harder tomorrow.

What keeps us from choosing to learn the easy way?

Pride.

Pride feels like we already know something, we know better than others, we know more than others. We choose to learn the hard way because we don’t think we have anything to learn today. Instead of thinking that we have something to learn, we think that we have something to teach.

Pride is usually broken down through learning the hard way. The hard way starts when our actions begin teaching our intellect that, in reality, we don’t know much at all.

Choose to learn the easy way by assuming that you need to learn today, tomorrow, and for the rest of your life —and from everyone, you come into contact with.

This is my daily project where I write about diverse ideas.

This is Dose #45.
