The Rise of AI Will Remind Us of Our Value
In the age of Artificial Intelligence, the most valuable commodities will be love, creativity, and authenticity.
The things that we have not quantified, those things that we have taken for granted, will become the things we look for and crave.
We will look for the real. We will look for flesh and bones.
Maybe you already do.
Normally, the rarer something is, the more valuable it is.
The exponential growth of technology is increasing the value of humanness — the nitty, gritty, emotional, creative, loving, nuanced, imperfect -ness of our people.
Once we automate everything, once we polish everything, we’ll increasingly value the opposite.
Grow in love, grow in authenticity, grow in creativity… you will be rewarded for it.
Maybe it’s a reward in and of itself.
Simply completing tasks will be less valuable because it will be easier, quicker and cheaper to have something else do it.
Being human will be the valuable thing.
This is my daily project where I write about diverse ideas.
This is ‘Dose’ #22.
